Alpha Marine Services Ltd (AMS Ltd) was founded in 2006 by Martin “Lew” Lewis CEng, CMarEng, MIMarEST, MIExpE, being an x member of the Royal Navy "Elite" Clearance Diving Branch.

​

This Introduction has been compiled to give an insight of Alpha Marine Services capabilities.  The category heading’s, which appear in this document, are meant for general guidance only and should not in any way be regarded as exhaustive or definitive of the quality services that we are able to provide.

 

AMS Ltd are subject matter experts within our fields, and therefore was established to assist companies/clients who require expertise's in our said fields to oversee scopes of work on there behalf:

Inshore/Offshore commercial diving,

UXO id and disposal land and sea.

Subsea cable Installation works and protection systems

ROV/Trenching/MFE

Subsea/Marine scopes such as Matting/rock dumping

MBES/TSS440,350 surveys

Onshore Marine Civils

With this knowledge we provide clients a “one stop shop” for clients who may not be aware of their legal requirements, minimum documentation, minimum equipment/staffing levels, certification and any auditing and health and safety requirements when using these services.

AMS Ltd can provide a turnkey service or write/review documents on behalf of the clients plus provide any in house training and then provide “eyes and ears” on site to oversee the project in order to help prevent project issues as to helping to avoid such issues and then helping to resolve them quickly and efficiently in order to save time, costs and potentially prevent lost time incidents/accidents ensuring the client gets the best possible service.

All personnel have the required offshore certification as to: Full 5 suite GWO offshore certification Chester step test, shoulder measurements and CA-EBS, BOSIETS/FOETS/HUETS offshore survivals and required medicals to work offshore.
